Jan. 17 (Bloomberg) — Aemetis Inc. idled ethanol production at its plant in Keyes, California, on Jan. 15 because of the “current unfavorable market conditions for corn ethanol.”

The company is seeking to restart the plant as “an advanced biofuel producer,” it said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing today.
