Apex Clean Energy Receives $13 Million Financing From 13 Backers

Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) — Apex Clean Energy Inc., a
Charlottesville, Virginia-based wind-power developer, received
almost $13 million in its latest financing.

Apex is getting the funds from 13 investors, according to a
filing today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
that didn’t say how the company will use the money.

Dahvi Wilson, a spokeswoman for the closely held company,
didn’t immediately respond to phone and e-mail messages seeking
comment.

Apex last week agreed to sell a 165-megawatt wind farm in
southern Texas to Ikea for an undisclosed sum.
