Canadian Solar Gets 3.5 Billion Yen Loan Facility From Rabobank

(Bloomberg) — Canadian Solar Inc. secured a 3.5 billion
yen ($28 million) loan agreement with Rabobank Group.

The credit facility from Rabobank Hong Kong has a two-year
maturity and will be used to build as much as 20 megawatts of
solar power in Japan, Canadian Solar said in a statement
Tuesday.

“Japan is a key market for us,” Chief Executive Officer
Shawn Qu said in the statement.
