GE Power Conversion to Supply Inverters for Solar Plant in Japan

(Bloomberg) — General Electric Co.’s power conversion
business will supply inverters for a 96-megawatt solar power
station in southwestern Japan developed by Pacifico Energy K.K.

GE Power Conversion said in a statement that it will also
supply transformers for the Hosoe plant in Miyazaki prefecture.

Earlier this year, GE and Pacifico Energy announced they
will jointly invest in the project, which is to be operational
in 2018.
