JA Solar Wins Another Order for Biggest Central America Project

(Bloomberg) — JA Solar Holdings Co., a Chinese solar
manufacturer, agreed to supply panels with 35.1 megawatts of
capacity for a power project in Guatemala.

The order follows a 59.7-megawatt shipment last year for
the solar farm that will be the largest in Central America when
finished, the Shanghai-based company said in a statement Monday.
The customer and terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

JA Solar expects to ship 3.6 gigawatts to 4 gigawatts of
panels and cells this year as it seeks to expand in markets
outside of Asia, the company said last week.
