Just Energy Agrees to Sell Commercial Solar Unit for $23 Million

Sept. 19 (Bloomberg) — Just Energy Group Inc., a Canadian
provider of natural gas and electricity, agreed to sell its
commercial solar-development business for $23 million.

The company is selling Hudson Energy Solar Corp. to a
“leading global energy company,” which also will assume $33
million in debt, Mississauga, Ontario-based Just Energy said
today in a statement, without identifying the buyer.

The sale, arranged by CIBC World Markets Inc., is expected
to close on or about Sept. 30.
