Leaf Solar Power Getting $75 Million to Install Rooftop Systems

(Bloomberg) — Leaf Solar Power, a closely held U.S.
provider of rooftop solar systems, raised $75 million to help
expand its business.

The investment from New York-based Tamra-Tacoma Capital
Partners primarily will be used to deploy residential- and
commercial-scale systems, according to a statement Wednesday
from the West Palm Beach, Florida-based company. Terms weren’t
disclosed.

The financing is expected to fund more than 1,250 solar
installations in the U.S., according to the statement. Leaf
Solar Power operates in eight states, including California, New
York and Florida.
