Mitsubishi UFJ, Partners to Provide 15.8 Bln Yen Loans for Solar

(Bloomberg) — Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and partners
will provide loans for a 53-megawatt solar power station in the
northern prefecture of Fukushima.

The 77 Bank, based in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture, will
provide 6.8 billion yen ($57 million) of the 15.8 billion yen in
loans, the bank said in a statement Monday. Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and three other banks will supply the remainder,
according to the statement.

The solar power plant is being built by Kyudenko Corp. and
partners, the 77 Bank said.
