NTT Unit Plans to Build 15MW Solar Power Plant in Northern Japan

Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) — A unit of Nippon Telegraph &
Telephone Corp.
plans to build a 15-megawatt solar power station
in northern Japan.

The plant will be built inside a park in Oshu city, Iwate
prefecture, NTT Facilities Inc. said in a statement today.
Operations are expected to start in October 2016.

The company has been developing solar projects and its 35th
station started generation last month, according to a statement
on Nov. 7.
