Swiss Developer Buys 12 Clean-Energy Plants Across Europe

(Bloomberg) — Kleinkraftwerk Birseck AG, a Swiss low-carbon energy developer, bought 12 clean-power plants across
Europe.

The Muenchenstein-based company acquired 26.8 megawatts of
solar and wind-energy facilities in France, Germany, Italy and
Switzerland. The purchases may boost earnings before interest
and taxes by at least 2.8 million Swiss francs ($3 million), it
said Thursday in a statement without disclosing terms.

The developer is also in the final stages of talks to buy a
1.8-megawatt hydropower plant in Norway and an 8-megawatt wind
farm in France that are already operational.
