TransCanada Buys $52 Million Ontario Plant From Canadian Solar

(Bloomberg) — Canadian Solar Inc. sold a 10-megawatt solar
power project in Ontario valued at about C$60 million ($52
million) to TransCanada Corp.

The Liskeard 1 plant uses Canadian Solar modules, the
Guelph, Ontario-based company said today in a statement.

TransCanada, the nation’s second-largest pipeline operator,
agreed to buy 30 megawatts of Canadian Solar projects in October
for about C$182 million, increasing its total investments in
solar power in Ontario to almost C$400 million.
