Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) — Vestas Wind Systems A/S agreed to
install 16 wind turbines for a power project in Uruguay.
The wind turbines have 49 megawatts of capacity and are
scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2015, the
Aarhus, Denmark-based company said in an statement on its
website yesterday. The deal includes a five-year service
agreement.
The Kiyu wind farm is owned by the Spanish renewable-energy
developer Grupo Cobra and will produce enough power for 170,000
people.
